You know what I really felt like doing at 9:55pm after the baby finally went to sleep last night?
Getting a couple squares of dark chocolate and calling it a night…?
That’s not “bad”, or “wrong”, so no big deal right?
You know what I did NOT feel like doing last night at 9:55??
GETTING A SWEATY WORKOUT IN.?
And here’s a perfect opportunity to balance grace and GET IT TOGETHER, WOMAN!!?
I could have given myself some extra grace for having a busy and quite frankly very productive despite having way less time kinda day.
But you know what?
I said I’d do something.
I told myself I’d get a work out in today since I didn’t on Monday.
It’s 9:55, the nights almost over and I had a choice.
I had SO MANY GREAT reasons to not do it.
-I need to get up early
-I can do the 4th one on Saturday instead
-I am tired
-I probably won’t push as hard
WELL GUESS WHAT!!!
I DID IT, and you know what’s funny?
-I am STILL getting up early tomorrow
-I can do an additional one on Saturday if it works out, but now I don’t have to
-I felt GREAT (and I feel even better now that it’s done)
-I pushed SO MUCH HARDER. In fact, I increased my weight on the 2nd-5th sets and actually changes one of the movements to make it harder
(Yep, that means it’s going to be harder for you, too this week, Resolved Lifers!!! ???)
ITS DONE. 25 minutes. Sweating like a pig. I did it. I did what I’d said I’d do. I pushed HARD. I feel great!
THIS IS WHY ITS WORTH IT.?
Thanks for being here, inspiring me to work harder to show YOU (and myself) we can do WHATEVER WE WANT in the midst of our crazy busy lives, as long as we are WILLING to do it every single day!?
