Do what I SAY Not What I Do…?

Hey friend!

You know what I realized?

I realized I was NOT doing something I tell my clients to do.

It’s funny because since I started this journey to be fitter and stronger, Murphy’s Law is all, “HAHA everybody watch THIS!!!”

And proceeds to throw me off course in a number of ways.

Oh you wanted a fourth workout this week! BOOM you’re sick!

Oh you planned to wake up early to get some work done? BOOM your alarm didn’t go off.

Right?! I don’t now about you, but this happens to me ALL. THE. TIME!

So as you know I’ve been working on getting up early.

I am HUGE fan of setting yourself up for success by making small changes that stick over time and I will always be…


There is also a time and a place for massive action and that is what I realized I need to do right now.

I’ve allowed too many things to get in my way, and have not been enforcing my boundaries of time.

SO!  I FORCED MY BUTT out of bed at 5am.

Another win- yesterday I pushed myself through my ENTIRE workout when I had like 47 things on my mind I wanted to finish.

Although it was just 25 min (I sweated my BUTT OFF), I forced my mind to stay present and finish it up. And guess what?! I still got my to do list done.

There is a balance between building sustainable habits and giving grace for the times we mess up AND saying to ourselves ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, it’s time for some massive action.

So guess what… I have just over a month to get REAL serious (and of course I will continue far beyond that)

But my initial goal was to get back to how I feel the best… and I’ve simply given myself too many passes.

So here is what I am going to do:

1) get 4 complete workouts in every single week (EVEN if I have to wake up at an ungodly hour to do it!)
-ps every hour is Godly ?

2) “grease the groove” during the day (I’ll talk more about this but basically this means keep moving, practicing skills that I love like pull ups every time I use the bathroom because I have the bar hanging on the bathroom door)

3) abstain from wine and extra desserts this month (this is a personal choice that I know is going to be enough to push my results over the edge and helps me keep myself in check! You don’t HAVE to do it this way but remember, this is massive action right now for me!)

A balance of grace and GET IT GURL!!
